Domestic science fiction horror, directed by Aldo Tardozzi, introduces us to the dark Istrian folklore through modern technology. The story follows a young biologist Boris who explores the formula of eternal youth in a secret underground laboratory, while at the same time a quiet Istrian town is shaken by the mysterious disappearance of a boy. Involved in the search, Boris soon discovers that the clues do not lead to human culprits, but are tied to local legends of stripes - dangerous creatures from nightmares that steal children. The unique and eerie atmosphere of the film is written by musician Tamara Obrovac, who composed original music inspired by the Istrian melody for the film. The main roles are played by Kemal Rizvanović, Rade Šerbedžija and Tihana Lazović, while Rijeka actresses Jelena Lopatić and Lucija Rukavina also contribute to the acting ensemble.
