Art-kino Croatia

Art-kino is a public institution operating in the field of film art and culture, founded by the City of Rijeka. Its main programme activities take place in Art-kino Croatia, a cinema hall located in the very centre of Rijeka, while in December 2015 a smaller screening room, Mini Art-kino, was also opened. Art-kino functions as a platform for the development of Rijeka’s audiovisual scene and has taken on the role of promoting film culture. It is not only a place for screening and watching films, but also for discussion, education, communication, and the exploration of the art of moving images, film reflection, and reflection on film itself. In line with this mission, the Special Film Library of Art-kino was established, offering a rich collection of books and audiovisual materials.
