Eksperimentalni film i video: 22. izdanje festivala 25 FPS gostuje u Art-kinu

During September 29 and 30, two blocks of selected experimental achievements from international and domestic competition will be shown, with the presentation of the book Manual for Experimental Film and a screening of the hypnotizing film Krakatoa by Spanish director Carlos Casas. Guest appearance of the 22nd edition of the 25FPS festival in Art-kino, 29. september at 7 p.m., he opens the presentation of the book Manual for Experimental Film by editor Federico Windhausen, in the company of the editors of the Croatian edition, Marina Kožul and Miro Frakić. It is a collection of accessible essays in which academic discussion and existing literature are presented in a clear, understandable way, opening up new approaches to understanding, defining and interpreting experimental film. On the same day at 8 pm, the first film program will be screened, which will include five films: winner of the Croatian competition program, Opera by Igor Zelić, a fascinating and delicate film collage that reveals itself in one light source; new light research by Ivan Marušić Klif, I Could Have Talked, but I Decided to Type; one of the Grand Prix Grand Jury winners, Daniel Mann's playful-serious Reconnaissance; Ben Russell's nightmarish and challenging Second Earth, and finally a wacky encounter with the augmented reality artifacts of Métae Élisabeth Caravelle.
