Nevini čarobnjaci

Young sports doctor and regular drummer in the jazz band “Bazyli” (Tadeusz Łomnicki) is a magnet for women, but his strategy is based on seduction, leaving little room for genuine feelings. When his friend Edmund (Zbigniew Cybulski) asks him after a gig to look after his “catch” while he deals with her partner, young student “Pelagia” (Krystyna Stypułkowska) decides to go for a walk around Warsaw instead of staying at the club. After missing the last train, “Bazyli” offers her a place to stay at his apartment, and she accepts. Playing with their identities, social norms, and even the situation they find themselves in becomes a stage for their parade of masks and cool attitudes, expressing a profound sense of alienation that favors psychological games over showing genuine emotions.
