Director Igor Jelinović’s acclaimed feature debut Koka takes a sharp and humorous look at complex family relationships and a conflict between sisters over an inheritance on the island of Hvar. Alongside the outstanding Snježana Sinovčić-Šiškov, the film features memorable performances by Aleksandra Janković, Stojan Matavulj, Šimun Šitum, and Leon Lučev. At the heart of the story is Tonina, an assertive woman who keeps everything under control while running the family business and caring for her mother, who suffers from dementia. On the other hand, her younger sister Tajana, with whom she is close, and her family live at a considerably more relaxed pace… At the 73rd Pula Film Festival, the film won the Grand Golden Arena for Best Film, Best Screenplay (Igor Jelinović), Best Actress (Snježana Sinovčić-Šiškov), and Best Supporting Actress (Aleksandra Janković).
