The retrospective A Film Called: Andrzej Wajda, marking the centenary of the birth of the versatile and acclaimed filmmaker, theatre director, producer, and educator, will open at Art-kino on September 25 at 7 p.m. with an introductory discussion featuring lexicographer and film scholar Tomislav Šakić, Polish studies scholar and translator Adrian Cvitanović, and film and literary critic Saša Stanić. The discussion will be followed by a screening of Kanal. The retrospective will continue with screenings of Ashes and Diamonds, Innocent Sorcerers, The Promised Land, Man of Marble, and Man of Iron. Tickets can be purchased at the Art-kino box office (open every day from one hour before the start of the first screening) or via the CoreEvent platform.
