After decades of disasters in which ACME products have repeatedly ruined his attempts to catch the Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote decides to fight back in court, determined to prove that ACME products are dangerous and defective. To achieve his goal, he joins forces with hapless lawyer Kevin Avery and decides to sue the ACME Corporation. On the other side stands Buddy Crane, a powerful corporate attorney who will do everything in his power to protect his client’s interests. Thus begins a courtroom battle in which the Coyote attempts to prove that perhaps he isn’t actually to blame for all his misfortunes. For decades, the Coyote has been portrayed as a character who always gets things wrong and ends up in disaster. Now, he decides to stand up for himself in a classic battle between the “little guy” and the “big guy,” showing that perseverance is one of our greatest strengths. At the same time, the story reminds us that we should not accept injustice simply because the other side is bigger or more powerful — and that we should fight for ourselves even when the odds seem to be against us.
