Koke Croatia, 2026, 97 min The Gorski Cinehill Festival once again loudly announces its desire to head to the coast, bringing a breath of fresh mountain air and one of the most anticipated domestic films of the year directly to the screen of Summer Art-Kino. The feature debut Koke, directed by Igor Jelinović, arrives on the big screen, sharply dissecting complex family relationships and a sibling inheritance dispute set on the island of Hvar through biting humour. Alongside Snježana Sinovčić-Šiškov, notable performances in the film are delivered by Aleksandra Janković, Stojan Matavulj, Šimun Šitum, and Leon Lučev. At the centre of the story is Tonina, an assertive woman who, while managing the family business and caring for her mother suffering from dementia, keeps everything under control. Her sister Tajana and her family live a significantly more relaxed lifestyle.
