17-year-old Ainara is at the crossroads of life when it comes to deciding which university career to choose. While this is what her family expects, Ainara feels her future could be elsewhere. As her friends experience the joys and turmoil of adolescence, falling in love, dating, and experimenting with their newfound freedoms, Ainara feels a deep attraction to the contemplative life of a convent nun. The choice before her will not be easy and will upset the balance in her family. Spanish director Alauda Ruiz De Azúe's intriguing drama has won 5 of this year's Goya Awards, including Best Picture, and won the Golden Shell Grand Prix for Best Picture at the San Sebastian Film Festival. The film was declared the best film of the 19th Of the Mediterranean Film Festival Split, explaining that it is "an extremely subtle and emotionally accurate portrayal of the conflict between personal freedom and family expectations, which raises universal questions of identity, belonging and the right to one's own choice". Good morning, cinema!: Sundays will be held on Friday, October 30 at 10 am in the hall of the Children's House.
