Theatrical hit Once Upon a Time on the Brijuni Islands again in Rijeka! An extraordinary acting quartet consisting of Milan Marić, Tihana Lazović, Branislav Trifunović and Sanja Marković brings the story of one of the most interesting meetings in the SFRY to the audience in Rijeka. The Belgrade hit play, Once Upon a Time on Brijuni, was inspired by the historical meeting of two married couples – Tito and Jovanka Broz with the most famous Hollywood actors of the time – Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, in the 1970s on Brijuni. The legendary characters will be brought to the Rijeka audience by the extraordinary acting foursome: Milan Marić, Tihana Lazović, Branislav Trifunović and Sanja Marković. Data on the meeting itself and the time spent by the two couples on the Brijuni Islands are available through very sketchy written and video traces of the Yugoslav media, through biographical writings on the lives of these four historical figures, as well as in the form of short dashes from Richard Burton's diary. All these materials served as inspiration and material for the play, which from the moment it was first played, was included in the list of plays for which a ticket is required, as well as the performance of more.
