During the Month of Croatian Books, from October 15 to November 15, the Rijeka City Library will be able to see the exhibition "Science among the shelves". Along with Lavoslav Ružićka and Vladimir Prelog, discover the enticing magic of chemistry, meet Dragutin Gorjanović-Kramberger and Slavoljub Penkala and discover whether Krapina's prehistoric man and pen have any connections? Check out how the country breathes with Andrija Mohorovičić and find out why our Ivan Vučetić is inextricably linked to almost every crime novel you take in your hands. An exhibition dedicated to selected Croatian scientists at the Rijeka City Library will reveal to you that research, new scientific discoveries and achievements are not reserved exclusively for laboratories, scientific institutions and study rooms of great scientists. You can meet science this fall – among the shelves of your Library, scientists come to meet you, discover how fun, understandable and accessible science can be, and scientists are not only people with fascinating minds, but people who are imperceptibly part of our everyday life.
