Radno čitanje: razgovor o „Divljem lektoru” s Josipom Sršenom

On Tuesday, October 13 at 6 PM, the Rijeka City Library in Benčić will host Josip Sršen, author of the acclaimed book Divlji lektor (The Wild Proofreader). We will talk about language, words, spelling and grammar, and all the tricky language dilemmas that come with them. Divlji lektor is a language guide in comic-strip form, in which a cat, portrayed as a language expert, gives young readers advice and answers many of the language-related questions and dilemmas faced by speakers of the Croatian language in a witty, entertaining, and accessible way. The comic was previously published in the puzzle and entertainment supplement of a daily newspaper. He later published comics in the fanzine Endem, Q strip magazine, and the Hrvatski velikani edition, and created illustrations for Modra lasta and various textbooks. For three years, he published the educational and humorous comic strip Ma daj… in Jutarnji list, followed by the comic Divlji lektor for the same newspaper.
