BACK TO THE '80s Dj Teo Fantazija @River Pub

On Saturday, October 17th, the River will flow with sugary pop anthems from the likes of Prince, Madonna, Depeche Mode, OMD, The Human League, Bowie, and other screaming knights and princesses of the most danceable decade of music—the 80s. Dance and—something you can’t really do just anywhere these days—sing along(!) to a ton of hits that flow seamlessly from "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" to "Never Gonna Give You Up." Become a "Material Girl" for at least one night, and maybe you’ll finally figure out what "Sussudio" actually means. There will be famous hits from Italy and Spain, too—like "Vamos a la playa" or "Paris Latino"—as well as German gems from Falco. We’ll even take a trip to Guinea. It’s a mix ranging from mega-hits to lesser-known tracks that fit right in with the classics without you even noticing the difference. You might be teasing your hair or touching up your makeup in the ladies' room, but don't linger too long—because "Summer's Cruel" and "The Tide Is High"! If you can guess—without Googling—which 80s movie features the song currently playing, you get a free music request. Maybe even two, if you impress me. Well… That’s gnarly if you ask me! 🚨📻🫜
