Juraj Klović Gallery: Solo Exhibition by Greta Catela – Woman and Her Wild Nature Woman and Her Wild Nature is the title of an exhibition by Greta Catela. Catela was born in 1985 in Mali Lošinj. After graduating from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Pula, she earned a degree in Sculpture from the Academy of Applied Arts in Rijeka in 2010. From 2012 to 2022, she worked at her own studio in Mali Lošinj, and today she lives and works in Pula. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Visual Artists Rijeka. The exhibition will open on October 13, 2026, at 7 PM at Juraj Klović Gallery, Verdijeva 19b. It will remain open until October 27, 2026, and can be visited during gallery opening hours: 10 AM–1 PM and 5–8 PM, and Saturdays from 10 AM–1 PM. The gallery is closed on Sundays. In the Woman and Her Wild Nature series, Greta Catela creates a personal, symbolic world in which the boundaries between humans and nature disappear. At the centre of all the works is the same female figure, each time depicted in a different relationship with a wild animal. This relationship cannot be reduced to a simple depiction of coexistence. Instead, it represents an encounter between two beings that belong to the same, deeper natural whole.
