Book Presentation: Did You Know Your Hands Think? On Thursday, October 8 at 6 PM, the Rijeka City Library will host the presentation of the handbook “Did You Know Your Hands Think? Teaching for Critical Thinking in Vocational Education and Training.” Published by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka, the handbook will be presented by its authors Dr. Bojana Vignjević Korotaj and Dr. Iva Buchberger. About the Handbook Did You Know Your Hands Think? explores the concept of critical thinking and how it can be effectively taught in vocational education. It addresses the question of how to develop critical thinking skills among vocational school students and what teaching for critical thinking looks like in vocational classrooms. The handbook is primarily intended for teachers of vocational subjects and serves as a practical resource, offering concrete guidelines and classroom examples to support the development of students’ critical thinking competencies. It is published in both Croatian and English. About the Authors Dr. Bojana Vignjević Korotaj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pedagogy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Rijeka. Her teaching and research focus on vocational pedagogy, particularly the professional identity of vocational teachers and career guidance in vocational schools.
