Festival Smoqua 2026: Povratak korijenima

Smoqua 2026 From October 1 to 3, 2026, Art-kvart Benčić and the Rijeka City Library will host part of the programme of the 10th edition of Smoqua, a festival of queer and feminist culture. Dozens of artists, activists, collectives and organizations from various countries will bring a diverse range of events, from workshops to performances, celebrating ten years of Smoqua. This year’s theme, “Back to the Roots,” brings together struggles, efforts and humanity, while celebrating the collaborations, friendships and mutual support that form the foundation of the festival. At the same time, it reminds us that roots are not only about the past or going back, but also a source of strength for the future we truly believe in — one that is just, equal and based on solidarity.
