Razgovor povodom 30 godina rada Udruge ''Nada ''

On Thursday, September 10 at 6:00 PM, the Rijeka City Library will host a conversation marking 30 years of successful work by the “Nada” Association. The discussion will feature Jana Bubnič Arčanin and Inka Miškulin. About the Association The NADA-Rijeka Association of Women Operated on for Breast Cancer is a place of hope, strength, and solidarity. We empower women affected by and treated for breast cancer, educate the public about prevention and early detection, and build a community where no woman has to face this journey alone. The association was founded on June 10, 1996, by Nadia Blašković-Morankić, who also became its first president, and Elda Zamlić, who served as secretary. From the very beginning, neuropsychiatrist Dr Gino di Leonardi-Zamlić joined the association as a volunteer and established a psychological support group. From its earliest days, NADA was more than an association — it was a family. Over nearly three decades, the association has grown into a key source of support for women throughout Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. It has also organised valuable donations to Rijeka Clinical Hospital Centre, including chemotherapy chairs, mattresses, hospital beds, televisions, and various other medical equipment — all made possible through the strength of the community and humanitarian campaigns. In 2026, NADA-Rijeka celebrates an extraordinary milestone — 30 years of uninterrupted work in service of women and the community. The anniversary motto is “Celebrating…
