Predstavljanje zbirke poezije "Strelice za terminal CRO" autorice Ledis Gazić

On Monday, September 7, 2026, at 6:00 PM, author Ledis Gazić will present her new poetry collection “Arrows for Terminal CRO” at the Rijeka City Library. The afterword to the book, titled “The Radiance of Beloved Silence”, was written by Maja Kušenić Gjerek, a writer from Koprivnica: “Her poetry is like a framed map of the journey she has taken so far, with some stages traced in an almost prose-like style, resembling a narrative poem, a personal Odyssey…” Editor Diana Rosandić Živković, who has followed the author since her first book, “The Sailor Within Me Knows,” notes: “The new manuscript is a mature literary work, written over the course of three years, and contains poems from both the diaspora and the homeland. Ledis Gazić skillfully weaves reflections on belonging and absence into her verses, and the collection could be regarded as literature of emigration. The poet addresses the reader and unnamed interlocutors with whom she shares her journeys and reflections.
