Moj balon i ja [Tamara Bračun]

My Balloon and I is a contemporary dance performance about the space between heaviness and lightness, between what keeps us grounded and what invites us to fly. The balloon becomes a space where a person can be completely themselves, free from the boundaries that the world around us often unconsciously imposes. Through movement, silence, and breath, the performance creates space for inner transformation, where every gesture carries traces of a personal journey. The performance does not tell a linear story. Instead, it invites the audience to pause, to feel, and to find their own meanings within the movement. My Balloon and I speaks about vulnerability becoming strength, about the courage to trust ourselves, and about the lightness that emerges when we dare to surrender to flight. Tamara Bračun is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and longtime member of Rijeka’s Plesni kolektiv Magija. She develops her artistic practice through contemporary dance, physical theatre, and inclusive performance practices, collaborating with numerous artists and organizations within Croatia’s independent dance scene. As an author and performer, she explores themes of relationships, communication, and human connection, combining dance, improvisation, and personal experience in her work.
