Licence to Protect is a performance-installation project that uses a documentary and interdisciplinary approach to explore the experiences of women and mothers in the context of militarization, war, and social expectations. Drawing on real testimonies from women across different European countries, the project examines the relationship between personal responsibility, collective memory, and a culture of peace, while creating space for dialogue about sacrifice, resistance, and solidarity. Combining performance, video, sound, and installation, the work invites audiences to engage in an intimate and critical reflection on the role of women in contemporary society and on the potential of art to inspire social reflection and social change.
