BURIED WONDERS – Monika Herceg Co-production with the Artistic Organisation “GlumacImaVremena, GlumicaImaVremena” / TAHT The stage presents “Buried Wonders”, a multimedia theatre performance by Monika Herceg, directed by Nina Violić – an intimate and emotional story about love, memory, illusion, and the fragile boundary between reality and imagination. The performance takes the audience into the final moments of a woman’s life, where memories open like exposed shelters, and where dreams and reality merge into a powerful emotional landscape. Through the combination of theatre, video, and music, the production explores what remains of a life through memories, desires, and the worlds we create within ourselves. The story unfolds through three symbolic spaces – The Garden of Eden, The Bridge, and The Apartment. In the Garden of Eden, the Eternal Girl, now an old woman, faces the passing of time. On the Bridge, she encounters the Eternal Boy and the beginning of love. The final and central part takes place in the lovers’ Apartment, where countless versions of a shared life unfold – tenderness, fear, passion, and farewell. The production uses video projections as a scenographic element, creating three-dimensional spaces where actors become part of a “living image”. By combining live performance, video art, and musical expression, “Buried Wonders” erases the boundaries between theatre and film, between the real and the imagined.
