TO=TO Peti ansambl & CO2… par umjetnika present “TO=TO”, an original performance project inspired by the work of Danish writer Inger Christensen. The performance takes place at Brajda Market in Rijeka on 11 and 12 September 2026 at 8:00 PM, as a co-production of the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc, Domino Association, Down Syndrome Association – Rijeka 21, and in collaboration with APURI – Acting and Media. “TO=TO” is a performance about eight days of creation, about time, presence, and the ways people come together. Inspired by Christensen’s text, the performance explores what happens when familiar systems are temporarily suspended and when space is allowed to exist without the pressure of productivity, expectations, and predetermined rules. Through this work, Peti ansambl creates a different kind of theatre – one based on encounter, attention, diversity, and collective creation. The performers do not follow fixed roles; instead, they build the performance through their individual capacities, presence, and relationships formed on stage.
