KNOT – Kolektiv Igralke (HR) & Žiga Divjak (SLO) In partnership with the Croatian National Theatre Ivan pl. Zajc, Rijeka welcomes “Knot”, a theatre project created by Kolektiv Igralke and Slovenian director and dramaturg Žiga Divjak. “If we prepare for war, we will get war.” Something is tightening. We can all feel it. In our bodies, in our cities, in our language. The performance “Knot” explores the tension created when preparing for war begins to be presented as the only reasonable way to protect the future. Through a series of small and personal situations, the performance examines how large political processes such as militarisation, fear, and the loss of future perspectives enter everyday life. War is not presented only through weapons and budgets, but through emotions, relationships, and the ways society changes under pressure.
