🎬 FROOOM! Film School for Children and Young People at Dječja kuća At the beginning of September, Dječja kuća in Rijeka becomes a place of film creativity! FROOOM! Film School brings a five-day program where children and young people transform from viewers into creators of their own short films. 🎥 The program is open to beginners as well as those who already have experience in filmmaking. Through small group work, guided by film authors and educators, participants will explore film language, develop ideas, write scripts, shoot and edit their own short films, and try out different roles both in front of and behind the camera. 📅 Date: September 2026 📍 Location: Dječja kuća, Rijeka 👧🧑 Age: 8–18 years 🎬 Led by: filmmakers and educators from Bacači sjenki ✨ The program includes: • watching and analyzing selected films • discussions about characters, space, time and different perspectives in film • creating scripts and developing ideas • filming and editing short films • exploring different filmmaking roles FROOOM! Film School was launched by Bacači sjenki in 2012 and is now held in more than 20 towns and cities across Croatia.
