This exhibition, created by associations of the third term of the Civic Museum Council (“Stol” Cultural Association from Kraljevica, Kastav – Our Old Town Association, and Association Without Borders – Drenova), presents the history and interesting stories related to education in the areas of Kastavština, Drenova, Kraljevica, and their surroundings. The history of education is both a historical and cultural topic that has had a strong influence on communities and individuals through the exchange of knowledge, skills, and information. Members of these associations present a part of the rich history and culture of their local areas, creating a foundation for further research and reflection. Although this exhibition could not cover all schools, events, and significant individuals connected to education, it highlights the importance of schooling as one of the key factors that shaped the region and its people.
