♟️ 54th Chess Tournament | July 28, 2026 | 7 PM | Klub mladih Rijeka ℹ️ The tournament will be played using the Swiss system, with each player receiving 10 minutes per game plus a 5-second increment per move. The tournament is open to amateur players only. Players who train competitively or are clearly beyond amateur level are not eligible to participate. Additionally, anyone ranked higher than 2000th place on the national ranking list is strictly prohibited from entering. ℹ️ A Quick Guide to the Swiss System Two players can face each other only once during the entire tournament. In each round, players are paired against opponents with the closest score on the standings. Throughout the tournament, players will have as balanced a number of games as possible with the white and black pieces. Participation is limited to 40 players, and the entry fee is €8. Your registration is considered complete only after the entry fee has been paid at Klub mladih Rijeka.
