Izložba: Trauma umjetnice Georgette Yvette Ponte

At Juraj Klović Gallery, Verdijeva 19b, the opening of the exhibition by Georgetta Yvette Ponte titled “Trauma” will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 8:00 PM. The exhibition, titled “Trauma (Body Landscapes of Pain)”, presents female nude figures created through confident and expressive brushstrokes. The large-scale works, displayed across the gallery walls and suspended within the space, capture the viewer’s attention, while the bodies silently speak, revealing their stories – intimate and emotional experiences filled with injustice, pain, and vulnerability. The artist shapes these works using a reduced visual language, with powerful black strokes defining the body as a space of memory, experience, and emotional scars.
