Starry Nights – Astronomical Centre Rijeka Astronomy enthusiasts, science lovers, and those seeking unique evening experiences can once again enjoy the Starry Nights programme at the Astronomical Centre Rijeka. This traditional summer programme runs until 26 September 2026, every Thursday and Saturday, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Visitors can look forward to a rich programme combining education and direct observation of the night sky. Throughout the summer, different planetarium films are shown each month, alongside guided educational sessions about the universe and, weather permitting, telescope observations of celestial objects. Inside the digital planetarium, guests can experience immersive 360-degree projections and explore the mysteries of space through engaging lectures led by expert guides. After the screenings, on clear evenings, visitors can observe the Moon, planets, and stars from the observatory using telescopes and laser pointers.
