On Friday, 07.08., Palach is bringing back City-Country, the legendary game from the category “we’re bored, but we have paper, pens, and a competitive spirit.” We’re playing Vol. 5, which means things are getting serious. Expect speed, knowledge, panic, arguments over whether a place actually exists, and at least one person trying to sneak in a completely made-up animal. The game is strictly for teams of 1 to 3 players, with a €5 entry fee per team. After we’ve exhausted our brainpower, we continue at a lighter pace with the Ska Session listening party. Expect ska, 2-tone, a groove built for bouncing, a bit of Jamaica, a bit of Britain, a bit of sweat, and just enough offbeat rhythm to make you forget what you even put under the letter S.
