Plant Workshop for Menstrual Care July 11, Saturday Children’s House, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM Facilitator: Natali Bosić Registration via the link – COMING SOON In this workshop, we will explore plants traditionally associated with menstrual care and women’s health—from wild-growing herbal allies to plants that are easy to cultivate at home. Through a short introduction, we will discuss the difference between wild and cultivated plants and the ways herbs can support the body during the menstrual cycle through calming, warmth, relaxation, and the creation of small self-care rituals. Special attention will be given to plants that are easy to obtain as seedlings and grow in a garden, on a balcony, or in pots, such as lavender, lemon balm, mint, calendula, and sage. Participants will learn about their traditional properties, scents, and uses, and will then plant them together and take them home to create their own small garden of support and care. The workshop is intended for anyone who would like to learn more about plants, their use in everyday life, and simple ways of caring for themselves through a connection with nature. No prior knowledge is required.
