The Rijeka City Library will open the first of five sessions of a five-day illustration and graphic design workshop on Wednesday. Participants will use visual language to interpret the host cities of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and the workshop is led by graphic designer Sanjin Smajlović. Event Information Workshop Structure The workshop takes place across five sessions: July 1, July 3, July 6, July 8, and July 10, with participation in all sessions recommended Participants will learn the basics of illustration and graphic design and create an original poster Each participant chooses one city and interprets its visual identity through colors, symbols, architecture, culture, and atmosphere The workshop is intended for young people aged 15 to 30, regardless of prior drawing or design experience Participants may work using traditional or digital techniques They will learn basic principles of composition, illustration, and typography Final works will be presented in a small exhibition at the library About the Instructor The workshop is led by Sanjin Smajlović, a graphic designer, UI/UX designer, digital illustrator, and animator from Rijeka.
