Unusual Sculptures four-day sculpture workshop Venue: Children’s House (Dječja kuća) Time: Wednesday 22 July – Friday 24 July, 10:30–12:00 Organizer: City Library Rijeka Facilitator: Nicol Nefat Age group: 8+ Registration: available on the Children’s House website from 29 June Note: the workshop takes place across three sessions (22–24 July), and participation in all sessions is required. Like real artists, participants will explore figures and shapes through play and drawing. Once satisfied with their idea, they will use expanding foam (PU foam) to create imaginative and abstract sculptures, which will then be painted and decorated. At the end of the workshop, children will take their imaginative sculptures home. The workshop is intended for children over 8 years old, and participation is independent (without parents).
