The early start is intended to avoid the summer heat and allow participants to return home feeling satisfied and energised. The workshop begins with a guiding question: what knowledge do you want to preserve and pass on to the next generation so it can be remembered and learned from? Participants are invited to join a five-day comic-making process in which their life lessons, wisdom, traditional skills and recipes will be transformed into short comic stories. On the final day, a public exhibition of the works will be organised, along with an open conversation with younger audiences — grandchildren, pupils and students — giving them the opportunity to see the exhibition, ask questions, and learn directly from the participants. The aim of the workshop is not only to create comics, but to build a living bridge between generations through shared storytelling.
