Around the World Without Leaving Benčić Flags of the World workshop Location: Courtyard of Gradska knjižnica Rijeka Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Organiser: Gradska knjižnica Rijeka Facilitator: Centar za kulturu dijaloga Audience: All ages Registration: Not required (drop-in format) The Centar za kulturu dijaloga (CKD) invites you to the workshop “Flags of the World”, a journey around the globe through flags and colours. Join a relaxed and playful gathering for all generations — from the youngest to the oldest. Participation is completely free, with no registration required, and you can drop in at any time and stay as long as you wish. Participants will paint flags from different countries, discover interesting “fun facts,” and try to guess which country each flag belongs to. Through drawing, conversation and small games, we will explore cultures, customs and curiosities from around the world. About the facilitators The workshops are led by cultural mediators and staff of Centar za kulturu dijaloga — experts from various fields united by a passion for languages, cultures and working with people. The team includes social pedagogues, linguists, teachers and translators of French, Russian, Persian, English and Arabic. Through their work, they connect people from different cultures and create spaces for encounter, dialogue and community.
