Join us for a completely different creative adventure! In this workshop, we combine the strict lines of printed text with delicate embroidery motifs, using discarded old books as the base for creating unique artistic works. What will we do? Paper preparation: Learn how to properly pierce the pages of an old book without tearing them. Embroidery stitches: Adapt traditional embroidery techniques (such as outline stitch or French knot) for fragile paper surfaces. Text intervention: Use embroidery to highlight specific words, frame old photographs within the book, or create floral motifs that “grow” out of sentences. Tactile collage: Combine threads with aged paper to create a 3D artistic effect. Who is it for? Everyone!
