An acoustic take on well-known songs and rarely performed material in the intimate atmosphere of Rijeka’s HKD. After a series of sold-out concerts across the region, Zabranjeno Pušenje as Neuštekani returns to Rijeka. This special acoustic project sees the band reinterpret its own repertoire in a stripped-down, more intimate sound, offering audiences a fresh perspective on familiar songs. What makes this performance unique is its selection of songs that have rarely—or never—been performed live, alongside beloved classics that take on new meaning in an unplugged setting. In addition to the music, the audience will hear stories behind the songs and insights into the band’s history and creative journey. The project was initiated by Sejo Sexon with the idea of rediscovering the songs and emotions that shaped the band through an acoustic format. The focus is placed on interpretation, lyrics, and direct interaction with the audience, creating a warm and personal concert experience. The concert is part of a tour following the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the iconic album Das ist Walter, highlighting the band’s enduring presence and influence on the regional music scene.
